This shampoo feels gentle and lightweight on the scalp and cleanses the hair well. However, my hair already has a naturally high protein content and is not dyed or heat-treated, so this formula felt a bit too strengthening for my needs. With continued use, my hair started to feel slightly stiff due to protein overload. I think it would work better for damaged or chemically treated hair that needs extra care. For my hair type, it was a bit more than what I needed.
